The concept for premiumplantplugs.com is the direct resale
of plant plugs to the home gardener or plant collector. These plugs normally aren’t available to the public because they’re sold only in quantities of 50, 72, 105, 200 or 288, all of one single variety, to growers who pot them up and grow them on, often for a year or more, selling them in a much more expensive larger size to retail garden centers who in turn mark the price up again.
Another common path to retail customers is the online nurseries. They often grow these same plugs for only a few weeks and then sell them in 3”, 3.5” or 4” pots for outrageous prices. Premiumplantplugs.com offers the same latest varieties
of high-quality, recently introduced and often patented plants for resale, in the form of the original plug, at a significantly lower price than your garden center or other online vendors.
